If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof over head, and a place to sleep... you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, spare change in a dish some place and a nice car/truck/motorcycle in the garage..... you are among the top 8% of the world's most wealthy.
If you woke up this morning in good health, you are more fortunate than the million who will not survive this week.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle unfolding all around you, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation...you are ahead of 500 million people in the world.
If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing inthat someone was thinking of you, and furthermore, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world who cannot read at all.
Have a good day, count your blessings, and pass this along to remindothers how much we really have to be thankful for.

Wow! That is a real rebuke to me. Really makes you realize what an ugly sin covetousness is. It is so easy to think that I am hard done by, when seeing pictures of your dad's recent trip etc really makes me realize I am in a truly privileged position! Thanks for the reminder.
wow, what a great reminder. thanks for taking the time to post it!
i agree with the others. thanks for the reminder. it's so easy to take all the things we have for granted and still find ourselves wanting.
